You don’t need a Risograph machine to make Risograph prints! Learn to work with Risograph stencil paper to burn a one-color postcard image!

You don’t need a Risograph machine to make Risograph prints! Learn how to work with Risograph stencil paper to burn a one-color postcard image using an old fax machine! Then learn how to print with your stencil on a simple handmade cardboard frame, or BYO Gocco printer if you have one! Learn about the history of Risography and how it ties into Japanese Mimeography, known as gariban. Explore a whole new realm of printmaking you never knew existed! All skill levels welcome, no prior Risograph experience is necessary. A materials fee covers paper, ink, stencil paper, and other consumables.


About the Instructors

Corey Bechelli draws comics and makes zines. He has been printing and self publishing weirdo little books for the past 20 years, and has displayed his work at zine fests, comic shows, flea markets, and art book fairs throughout the country.


Cost

$40 for members / $45 for non-members, students also pay a $15 materials fee which includes a materials fee that covers masters, ink, paper, and maintenance of equipment.
