Grow with Us- Include Native Plants: Beautiful & Beneficial (Virtual)
It's always good to include some of our nice native plants. Even small changes help offset habitat loss in our urban and suburban locations.
N.C. Cooperative Extension - Guilford County Center and our N.C. State Extension Master Gardener℠ program invite you to join us for our virtual Grow with Us gardening class.
Thursday, October 22, 2026
6:00 PM
This is an ONLINE SEMINAR via ZOOM, presented by our Extension Master Gardener℠ volunteers. Please note that the session will not be recorded. The same program will be presented in person at the Kathleen Clay Edwards Family Branch Library in Greensboro, NC, on an earlier date. You can view information and register for the in-person session through our website.
All gardeners can include some of our lovely native plants - even small changes help offset habitat loss in our urban and suburban locations. Selecting the best options for your site is easy and fun with some good basic information, and we can all enjoy more resilient landscapes by increasing plant diversity in our own backyards.
The talk is free - but capacity is limited. Please register to reserve the Zoom link. The Zoom link will be provided to you upon registration in a confirmation email and will also be accessible through your Eventbrite account. If you are unable to access the Zoom link, contact Holly Key (hmkey@ncsu.edu) as soon as possible for the best chance of her being able to assist you.
A program handout providing links to abundant resources and in-depth information will be made available to registrants via the email address provided in a reminder email 24 hours before the program. The handout will also be accessible after the session on our gardening handouts webpage.
If you encounter problems registering or if you have questions, please contact Holly Key (hmkey@ncsu.edu). Thank you for your interest in our "Grow with Us" programming!
