Yes. How? I don't know that part yet. Have I mentioned I'm new to this. We're doing this live, ya'll.

What information is being collected?

As little as possible. Whatever the platform(s) we use collect will be gathered, but personally I only care about what you want to share and that we have enough people. I would prefer you register with you reddit name, but that's up to you.

What kind of content should we expect?

Not sure. If the group that shows is small, it will be an group discussion and share time. If the group is larger, we'll do Q&A from more of a panel-style setup. Worst case, Poolmanjim and whoever else wants to talk will go for it.

Do I need to be working in IAM to attend?

No. You don't even have to like Active Directory. Though be nice. It's not our fault Microsoft made it this way. If you're interested in security, IAM, AD, or whatever, come join us. Just be nice.

Why Proton Meet?

I did a lot of looking. Teams was my original plan, but didn't fit the bill for this. Proton Meet is fairly new and they're super privacy focused so I figured "why not".

I'm interested in sponsoring the community! How can I help?

DM Poolmanjim. The community is very anti-corpo interests. That said nice meetings have costs so if things keep going this way, sponsors may be required. We won't sell your stuff and I won't hock your wares. If you sponsor us, you do so knowing that you get no special rights.

Eventbrite? And you talk about privacy?

Yeah. For registration I wanted something. Evenbrite is what I knew and it is something to start with. If you have recommendations for the future let me know.

Question 11

Why only a few panelists? I thought this was a meet up?

Have you ever been on a web call with 50 people all sharing the camera and talking over each other? Yeah. I don't want that. The panelists will have free reign to speak, everyone else will need to raise their hand or use the chat.

Do I get CPEs?

Accepted Answer

I don't think so. You'd have to take that up with the CPE organization. If the information about your attendance is captured and you can verify you are who you say you are, I will pass along an attendance report for you specifically if so requested.
