Dino Art Projects:

June 17 | Dino Acrostic Poetry (ages 9-12)

Acrostic poems are free verse poems where the first letter of each line spells out the name of the subject.

June 24 | DIY Terrariumsaur (ages 4-10)

Beautify your space! Join us at the library to make a terrariumsaur for your space. Supplies and spaces are limited.

July 8 | Scrolls & Secrets: Stories in Symbols (ages 8-12)

Travel back to ancient Egypt to discover how people told stories using symbols instead of letters! Learn about hieroglyphics and hieratic writing, then create your own scroll and write a secret message using ancient-inspired symbols-or invent an alphabet of your own.

July 15 | Paleontologist’s Notebook: A Field Notebook Project (ages 8-12)

Step into the shoes of a real paleontologist! Participants will bind their own notebook, decorate the cover, and turn it into a field journal for recording prehistoric discoveries. Draw fossils, take notes, and let your imagination roam the prehistoric world—every page is a story waiting to be uncovered!
