Join the design team at this prominent NYC type foundry for a rare tour of the studio and collections.
At this in-person event, Tobias Frere-Jones, Nina Stössinger, and Fred Shallcrass will offer a tour of Tobias’s extensive library of type specimens and other typographic objects, collected over the course of his design career. See their personal favorites and historical curios, which offer a look into the history of type design and the business of typefounding. This event takes place at Frere-Jones Type’s studio in Gowanus, Brooklyn.
The fee to join this tour is in support of the 2026 Typographics Festival.
