Overview
Learn the basics of traditional stone carving using hand tools and carve your own design to take home - all in 2-1/2 hours with a fun group!
Enter into the art of traditional stone carving with this fun introductory class! Students spend the first half of the class engaging in a series of exercises designed to teach tool handling and targeted, efficient stone removal technique. In the second half, each student carves a design and/or letters. Templates of gothic foliage carving details will be available for use or students may design their own motifs.
All tools and materials included. No experience necessary.
