A Symphony of Loss: A Collective Journey of Sound, Writing, and Community
Join us for a half-day intensive workshop designed to explore, express, and transform grief through sound, writing, and connection. In this supportive and compassionate space, participants will:
🎵 Connect with Sound & Somatic Awareness – Feel sound, words, and belonging deep in your body to awaken, access, and witness hard-to-reach emotions.
✍️ Engage in Community Storytelling – Contribute one paragraph to a shared story about grief, weaving multiple perspectives into a unified narrative. Reflect together as a volunteer reads the story aloud.
💌 Write to Your Grief – Through Giving Grief a Voice, write a letter to your grief, acknowledging, honoring, and gently releasing it, creating space for healing and transformation.
📖 Learn from Published Authors – Two experienced writers will teach practical writing skills and techniques to support your creative expression, both in the workshop and beyond.
This workshop cultivates connection, meaning-making, and shared healing, offering a nurturing environment where grief can be held, expressed, and transformed into hope, comfort, and gratitude.
✨ Come ready to explore, reflect, write, and connect in a gentle, transformative experience.
Lunch will be provided.
A gift bag with helpful items to support your next steps will be provided.
