Experience the art of mindful jewelry design with Vanessa Miller of BQMNY at 1 Hotel Central Park. In this serene workshop, you'll craft your own unique wire-wrapped ring, selecting from an array of crystal beads. Embrace creativity and tranquility as you design a piece that reflects your personal style.

About the designer:

Vanessa Miller is a self-taught jewelry artist and social worker who is focused on centering Black people within the LGBTQ+ community.

Vanessa has created pieces with the intention to adorn and uplift marginalized communities; offered community engagement through creative wellness workshops; consulted on DEI with organizations interested in increasing their advocacy work; and uplifted the NYC community through her work as a clinician.

Vanessa hopes that BQMNY will continue to grow into a comprehensive jewelry line that offers heirloom pieces and apprenticeships to underserved communities.
