Wyoming State Society welcomes all to our 49th annual COWPIE celebration!
This signature event brings the spirit of Wyoming to Washington during the same time our friends and family back home celebrate Cheyenne Frontier Days. This year is even more of a celebration as we gather on Wyoming's birthday, and America celebrates it's 250th birthday!
On Friday, July 10th, 2026, hundreds of Wyoming expats and Western enthusiasts will gather at Eastern Market’s North Hall, donning their finest boots, hats, and belt buckles for an evening of:
* Country dancing beneath twinkling lights
* Mechanical bull riding competitions
* Live Western entertainment
* Wyoming-inspired food and drinks
* Networking with fellow Wyomingites and Western advocates
