Join us on Saturday, October 3, 2026 at Industry City for our biggest pop-up of the year—bringing together 40+ SWANA and South Asian brands, makers, and creatives for a full day of shopping, food, music, and community.

This isn’t just a market - it’s a daytime dance party.

Set against expansive waterfront views overlooking the Hudson River and the Statue of Liberty, El Souq transforms into a sunlit, open-air celebration where shopping meets sound and community meets movement.

What to expect:

• 40+ curated vendors across fashion, jewelry, home, books, and more
• Street food and small-batch baked goods inspired by diasporic flavors
• Palestinian-owned 360 Records spinning Arabic and SWANA sounds all day
• A curated selection of vinyl, cassette tapes, and books
• Headlining DJ set by Mansaf Mama (3:00–6:00 PM)
• Interactive activations, including Ludo gameplay with Ludo Ghar

The energy builds throughout the day, with 360 Records setting the tone before Mansaf Mama takes over the decks from 3–6 PM, closing things out with a high-energy, dance-forward set. With expanded space and room to move, expect a full-on daytime dance floor.

In between sets, shopping, and bites, take a moment to reset with a round of Ludo, the beloved South Asian board game, courtesy of Ludo Ghar - bringing a playful, social energy into the mix.

El Souq is known for showcasing brands that honor their ancestral roots - through textiles, craft, and storytelling that span SWANA and South Asian cultures. Every pop-up is designed as both a marketplace and a gathering space - rooted in creativity, heritage, and connection.
