Landscape Felting Workshop at Revive The Roots

Revive the RootsSmithfield, RI
Overview

Create a dreamy wool landscape with natural wool fibers, texture & earth-inspired magic at Revive The Roots!

Step into a world of wool, lush landscapes, and earthy creativity at Revive the Roots!

In this playful eco-art felting workshop, we’ll turn soft wool into dreamy felted landscapes inspired by the beauty of Revive The Roots and the surrounding conservation land.

Using water, soap, texture, and a little bit of magic, participants will learn the art of wet felting while creating one-of-a-kind textile pieces filled with color, movement, and organic materials. Think mossy hillsides, tangled roots, wildflowers, stones, and imagined landscapes—all woven together through touch and experimentation.

This workshop is perfect for curious beginners, crafty nature lovers, and anyone craving a creative afternoon outdoors. Come get your hands in it, connect with the earth, and leave with a soft sculptural artwork that feels like a tiny piece of the landscape itself. All materials included—just bring your imagination and clothes you don’t mind getting a little wet!

All ages and abilities: Children aged 10 and up are invited to join! A parent should accompany kids under 14. Space is limited to 10 spots!
