SFVG 2026 Symposium
Overview

Get ready to dive into the latest breakthroughs and network with fellow scientists at SFVG 2026!

After a successful first year of connecting virologists across South Florida, the South Florida Virology Group (SFVG) is excited to host its inaugural symposium. What began as a trainee-focused monthly seminar series spanning the University of Miami, UF Scripps Biomedical Research, and the Cleveland Clinic Florida Research and Innovation Center, has grown into a vibrant community dedicated to advancing virology research, fostering collaboration, and supporting the next generation of scientists.

This full-day symposium will bring together trainees, faculty, and research staff from across the region to showcase exciting discoveries, share emerging ideas, and expand collaborative networks. We invite the South Florida scientific community to join us as we celebrate our first year and look toward the future of virology research in our region.
