Join us and have the opportunity to explore hands-on-experiments through beginner friendly activities!
Come and unearth some fun! Each class will be full of hands on activities and some goodies to eat too!
Bi-Weekly Activities:
June 11th | Categorize fossils, make your own fossil and excavate a dinosaur egg!
June 25th | Learn about soil and the layers of the earth. We will also make and eat our own "dirt cup"!
July 9th | This class is un-bee-lievable! A Cowetan Beekeeper will teach us about the importance of these busy insects and show us how she cares for them. Many demonstrations and things to see and touch. We will also get to try some honey and see why bees are so sweet!
July 23rd | How old is that tree? Using tree ring samples we will learn how to tell a tree's age and it's prior living conditions. We will also be able to cut and eat a "tree log" and see the rings in our sweet treat.
SPACE IS LIMITED to 15 children per session.
