Watercolors Made Easy: Tulip Barn at Swan Island Dahlias

Swan Island DahliasCanby, OR
Saturday, August 8  •  10 AM - 12 PM
Overview

Tap into your inner artist and enjoy your day at the Annual Dahlia Festival!

Learn how to paint watercolors in a step-by-step class while painting a Tulip Barn!

No drawing or painting experience is needed for this class. A line drawing will already be on the watercolor paper, and students only need to paint with watercolors.

Elizabeth will demonstrate different watercolor painting techniques and she will be available for one-on-one help as time allows.

All materials for creating a watercolor painting will be provided, but if you have your own paintbrushes, you’re welcome to bring them! Refrain from wearing anything light colored, just in case any paint splatters.

Supplied materials include professional quality Arches Cold Press watercolor paper and professional quality M. Graham Watercolor paints.

About the Artist: Elizabeth is a longtime watercolor artist who wants to share her love of the medium. Students work with high-quality materials so that everyone can learn if they enjoy watercolor painting with the best possible supplies.

Each participant will leave with their finished watercolor artwork.

All supplies are included in the class fee of $47.00

Length of Class: 2 hours
