Great all-season destination cycling tour Experience Key Biscayne by bike. Easily tie this tour to your Miami or Key Biscayne accommodation stay, or start at the tour's convenient parking spot. A relaxing 17-mile bikeway floop* through Key Biscayne which snapshots on a slight slip of land the attraction of South Florida. The route is 92% bikeway and completely level. The weather - it is wonderfully warm year round. A great winter-time destination bicycle tour for everybody! This is a perfect Miami area destination adventure! The tour travels along gorgeous Atlantic oceanfront bikeways passing by several beaches, two grand parks, a lighthouse, and historical Key Biscayne. The points of interest list highlights nearby attractions. This tour has all the bells and whistles you have come to expect with a CycleNuts Selfie Tour: bikeway-focused; expertly designed route; points of interest included along the way; easy to navigate; and sensible options for both long and short-distance riders. When there is an available bicycle lane OR when the sidewalk is crowded with pedestrians, it may be better to ride the bicycle on the side of the roadway." source: https://www.davidalanwolf.com/sidewalk-bicycle-riding-florida-law 2023 POIs:

Beach Park

Crandon Park

Crandon Beach

Miami Seaquarium

Cape Florida Beach

Crandon Park Zoo Ruins

Neptune Memorial Reef

Hobie Island Beach Park

Cape Florida Lighthouse

Old Rickenbacker Causeway

Rickenbacker Causeway Beach

Historic Virginia Key Beach Park**

Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park***

Marjory Stoneman Douglas Biscayne Nature Center

Bikeways:

Osprey Beach Trail

Bear Cut Nature Trail

Rickenbacker Bikeway

Fossilized Reef Bike Trail

*what is a "floop"?
