Date/Time: June 8 through June 26 , Mondays & Fridays, 1 -1:45pm.
Description:
Strong muscles are an important part of maintaining independence as we age. But you don’t need heavy weights or fancy gym equipment to build strength. Endurance, core strength, and mobility can be improved with body weight exercises, using simple props like a wall, chair, or a railing, to help us move with greater confidence in everyday activities such as climbing the stairs, carrying groceries, and reaching overhead. Join us in a supportive and welcoming environment for exercises that build strength for everyday life as well as improve the range of motion in your joints. All fitness levels are welcome, but some standing is required.

Location: The Gathering Room at Brooke Grove Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, with direct access from the lower level parking lot

Cost: $20 for entire three-week session
