Kids Garden Hour

Hey parents! Bring your little explorers (age five and under) to our Kids Garden Hour, a fun-filled in-person event where kids can dig into nature, learn about plants, and get their hands a little dirty. It’s the perfect way for young minds to discover the joys of gardening while making new friends. Let’s grow, play, and laugh together in the great outdoors!

Each week we'll complete four short activities to keep little ones engaged. We'll learn about new plants, how to care for them, what makes healthy soil, and harvest. Children will take home a veggie, herb bouquet, or flower bouquet each week. Depending on what's ready to harvest, we'll try to offer taste tests of various fruits, herbs, and veggies from the garden.

At True Cut Ranch we have multiple gardens and a greenhouse. We'll stay close to the farm store (and the restroom!) and activities could be in the fenced in market garden, the pumpkin patch, the native plant "tire wall," the outdoor plant nursery (where we have plants for sale), and the greenhouse.

Parents must stay next to their child(ren) during this event.

Save money and enjoy more time in the garden by buying a pass for all the sessions in June: 6/5, 6/12, 6/19, and 6/26! Choose any date then you'll be shown two ticket types: one day for $12 or all four days for $18.

You're welcome to pack a picnic lunch (or grab snacks and drinks from our farm store) to enjoy a casual meal after Kids Garden Hour at our covered picnic area called "Creekview."
