"This stage is now in the big room and a great listening room. The ship maybe has the coolest history as it used to be a night club in the early heyday of KC. Check out the duet of Ron Carter and christian McBride from the Movie Kansas City. The new location is called the West Bottoms which has been the place artists and musicians have been thriving in for many decades. Founder Johnny first practiced his loud music down in this area in 88. It’s where the musicians met each other in too cold or too hot warehouses."
