An opera-trained vocalist who sings in five languages (English, Spanish, Italian, Hebrew, and French), Mercedes first gained widespread acclaim as a standout finalist on the inaugural season of La Voz (NBC/Telemundo). Prior to his solo success, he spent ten years anchoring the 2x Latin Billboard and Latin Grammy-nominated Bachata duo Voz a Voz, releasing three studio albums.
