LaureNicole is an alt-pop/rock band with a sound that blends gritty rock intensity with the emotional depth of alternative music. Band members include Lauren (lead singer/songwriter/guitar), Jim (drums), Zack (bass), and Rhet (lead guitar/backing vocals) who create a tight, dynamic sound, marked by an infectious energy on stage. Drawing inspiration from iconic acts such as The Cranberries, Hevenshe, Vertical Horizon, Foo Fighters, and Alanis Morissette, LaureNicole weaves elements of 90s nostalgia into their music, delivering both haunting melodies and uplifting anthems. The band’s lyrics are full of vulnerability and emotional weight that guide listeners through moments of struggle, while offering messages of perseverance and healing. In October 2024, the band released their long-awaited full-length album, From Within, which received acclaim for its introspective themes and sophisticated sound. A culmination of white-collar angst, lower management proves that it was, in fact, not a phase, Mom. Through thoughtful lyrics, and hard-hitting guitar riffs, lower management propels alternative rock into the new generation. The band combines a youthful exuberance with the nuances perspectives of age to deliver a fun-filled albeit sobering listening experience. The six-piece group hails from Charlotte, NC, and while music was always a dream that was constantly overshadowed by the dreams of “growing up”; the band represents a type of renaissance for its members, finally allowing them to be the people that have been hidden under their ties and coveralls.
