Kalamazoo's independent bookstore spans two adjacent locations: Bookbug, focused entirely on children's books andthis is a bookstore,featuring adult interest titles, with focus on literary fiction, non fiction, contemporary politics, graphic novels and young adult fiction. With over 7,000 square feet of combined space, the store also features a full service cafe/bar and hosts many events, including: author readings, workshops, musical performances, Trivia Night, book clubs, story times and more.

<h2>SUMMERTIME BOOK TALK</h2>Grab a book-loving friend or come on your own to hear from two of our most-well-read booksellers of YA, genre fiction, and more. These booksellers will BOOK-TALK their favorite recent reads that are mostly likely to intrigue and satisfy teen and adult indulgence to have a READ-WHAT-YOU-WANT SUMMER.All ticket holders will receive:--a $10 gift card to the bookstore--a FEE BOOK of choice from our wide selection of high-interest advance copies--a non-alchoholic drink of choice from FC's Bookstore Cafe--our curated recommended 2026 summer reading book lists, across genres--enrollment into our SUMMER READING INVITE with chance to earn more prizes from the bookstore in August
