Tammy L. Hall is a Grammy-recognized, award winning pianist/composer/educator/musical director whose career spans 40+ years. Hall has worked with a wide array of vocalists and instrumentalists, including the late Etta Jones, Ernestine Anderson and Mary Wilson; Melba Moore, Ms. Loretta Devine, Leberta Lorál, Susanne Mentzer, Marcus Shelby,Terri Lyne Carrington, Regina Carter, Houston Person, Dr. Kim Nalley, Laurie Anderson, Gerald Clayton, Mads Tolling, Linda Tillery, Vicki Randle, Holly Near, Barbara Dane, Mimi Fox and Allison Miller. Tammy is a proud resident of Seaside, CA and was recognized as a Champion of the Arts by the the Monterey Council of the Arts in 2024. This September Ms. Hall looks forward to appearances in the Monterey Symphony’s highly anticipated Love Letter to New York and the 69th annual Monterey Jazz Festival’s Garden Stage offering (for the fifth year) of her curated spiritual and gospel offering: We’ve Come This Far by Faith, in collaboration with the Texas Southern University Choir.
