Introduction To Glass Blowing: Decorative Orb Workshop Or Ornaments

We’re bringing the heat—literally! Join us as you get to choose between learning to make 3 decorative glass orbs for your garden or three gorgeous ornaments. In this hands-on class, guests will learn the basics of glass blowing and create three unique blown glass garden orbs. Whether you're a total beginner or just curious about the art form, this workshop is designed to be fun, approachable, and one-of-a-kind! Classes will run back to back, so PLEASE be on time. What to Expect: This is a 1-hour workshop. You’ll spend the first 30 minutes creating your glass ornaments, followed by 30 minutes of relaxing and sipping while your creations cool. Each guest will be provided with the materials to create three garden orbs. Since this is an introductory-level experience, garden orbs will vary in shape and size, and may not be perfectly round—each one is a unique work of art! Important Notes: 18+ ONLY – no exceptions. All participants will be required to sign a liability and safety waiver before the workshop begins. Safety wear is mandatory and will be provided, including safety glasses and gloves. Our instructors will guide you every step of the way to help you create three beautiful ornaments. However, due to the nature of glass blowing, we cannot guarantee all pieces will turn out successfully—and that’s all part of the learning experience!

We have snacks charcuterie, ice cream, chips, soda, and water for sale. We also have an ABC Permit and SELL Beer, and Wine. We DO NOT allow BYOB Outside beer or wine. Please arrive 15 minutes early.

Classes last approximately 1 hour, occurring every 30 minutes. It is extremely important you are on time in order to not hold up the next class. This is an adult event. 18 and up Only. Each person present in studio must have a paid seat. Class size can be adjusted if more in your party. Please call studio.

** Cancellation policy as follows : All sales are final. Refunds will not be given in the event that a customers cancels their reservation. To receive a credit to be redeemed within 60 days towards another class you must email chapelhill@wineanddesign.com before an event.If there is a threat of inclement weather or if the event has low attendance, it is subject to cancellation. If this is the case, you will be given a credit to be redeemed within 60 days for another class of equal value.
