Fundraising Sail on LADY MARYLAND to support Baltimore City College HS
Join us for a sail on the schooner LADY MARYLAND to support the students who sail with us during the annual Schooner Race in October.
Please help us raise money and support 10 Baltimore City College HS students who will join us on the Schooner Race in October. Each fall we partner with City College and invite ten students to join us on the Great Chesapeake Bay Schooner Race. These students are active members of the crew and sail with us from Baltimore to Norfolk. It is the adventure of a lifetime!
While on the Schooner LADY MARYLAND during this evening sail you can help the crew raise the sails and navigate the boat. Learn some local history & relax while enjoying the sounds and activity on the water. And you can check out where students will sleep and eat during their 2-day voyage with us during the Schooner Race in October!
Tickets are limited and must be purchased in advance. Tickets are non-refundable.
During the April to November sailing season, the Living Classrooms historic ships offer unique hands-on sailing adventures for students, youth groups, and adults from all over Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC.
Visitors with limited mobility will be accommodated as best as we can. Due to its historic design, this vessel is not ADA accessible below decks.
