Where is Proksa Park located?

Proksa Park is a forested 10-acre public park nestled right in the heart of Berwyn. You can enter by car and park using street parking or walk from your home as it is a well-known neighborhood park. Follow the signs when you enter. View map for exact location.

Question 2

Is this an adult only event?

Accepted Answer

This is a 21+ event. No one under the age of 21 will be allowed entrance in the festival. This includes designated drivers who must also be at least 21 years of age. NO children, toddlers, infants, strollers, or pets are permitted. No one will be admitted without a valid photo ID (no exceptions).

Do I have to purchase a ticket as a designated driver?

We are selling Designated Driver tickets this year for $15, which includes non-alcoholic beverages such as soda and water! This ticket gains you access to awesome food, wonderful entertainment, games, and firepits.

Can I bring my pet?

Accepted Answer

We love pets but unfortunately, they are not allowed at the festival. Attendees who arrive with a pet will be turned away, regardless of purchase. No refunds will be given in this circumstance.

Can I bring my own beer?

Accepted Answer

No. Outside food or drinks are not allowed inside the festival, including bottled water. Once inside the festival, water will be provided for drinking.

Will there be seating?

Accepted Answer

Yes. There will be picnic tables for seating, but if you are particularly attached to your chair, you can bring it to the festival.

Will there be food available

Accepted Answer

Yes, some of Berwyn’s favorite restaurants and food vendors will be in attendance. Please bring extra money to support local favorites.

What if it rains?

The Berwyn Brew Fest is a rain or shine event. Please dress for the weather and be prepared to drink in all kinds of weather. We can have fun rain or shine!

Where to park near the festival?

Accepted Answer

Free parking is available along the perimeter of the park, as well as surrounding streets. Although parking is available, we encourage walking to our festival if you live nearby, or using a designated driver or rideshare services to get to and from the event

Are their other transportation options?

Accepted Answer

Biking: Proksa Park is accessible via bicycle. Bike racks will be provided at no cost to you!
Public Transportation: Proksa Park is accessible via the 302, 307 and 311 bus routes.
Rideshare service: Ask them to enter at 3001 S. Wisconsin Avenue, Berwyn, and follow the signs!

Why are there drink tickets?

This is a regulatory measure to keep in compliance with Illinois liquor laws. Berwyn Brew Fest general admission ticket holders will receive tickets valid for fifteen (15) 5-ounce pours for ticket holders. Brewfest Light ticket holders will receive eight (8) 5-ounce pours.

What is not allowed

Accepted Answer

No pets of any kind, strollers, your own personal glass, firearms or weapons of any kind. No outside beer, beer-sharing or bottle-sharing allowed. Disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to ask you to leave the event if you exhibit flagrant behavior.

What is the refund policy?

All ticket sales are final. In the unlikely event that Brewfest must be canceled due to severe weather or other circumstances beyond our control, we are unable to offer refunds due to vendor and logistical commitments made in advance of the event. We appreciate your understanding and support.

Will tickets be sold at the door?

Accepted Answer

Everyone will be expected to have purchased a ticket from Eventbrite prior to entry. QR code signage will be available near the entrance for tickets. All ticket sales must be completed using a mobile device and/or computer through Eventbrite. While supplies last. No guarantee.

Question 15

Can I bring my own food or drinks?

Accepted Answer

No. Outside food and drinks will not be permitted. We have water stations at the event, and food vendors on-site. If you wish to bring an empty water bottle for personal use at the water stations, you may, but no glass is allowed.
