East Tulsa is full of people doing remarkable things — running businesses, building programs or showing up for their neighbors day after day. The Heart of East Tulsa series exists to tell those stories. Ven a la Mesa/Come to the Table exists to bring them to life.

Join us on Tuesday, June 2 from 6–7:30 p.m. at Plaza Santa Cecilia, 2160 S Garnett Rd, for a free community gathering that celebrates the neighbors behind the series and creates space for the kinds of conversations that make east Tulsa stronger.

This is not a panel. This is not a presentation. It's an evening built around real conversation — at the table, with your neighbors over good food.

Throughout the night, you'll have the chance to meet and talk with newsroom staff and featured neighbors in the Heart of East Tulsa series, share what matters to you about this community and help shape the stories we tell next. Whether you're a longtime reader, a first-time visitor or someone who's never heard of the series, you belong at this table.

What to expect:

• Meaningful conversation with east Tulsa community members and featured neighbors
• Free food and drinks
• A chance to share your feedback and help guide future Heart of East Tulsa reporting
