Join us for an evening that celebrates resilience, culture, and community.
On Saturday, 13 June, the Friends of Oleksandriya invite you to the BRLSI Elwin Room for a special Refugee Week gathering themed Courage. The event brings together music, stories, and Ukrainian cuisine in a heartfelt tribute to the strength of those rebuilding their lives far from home.
Programme
- A concert of Ukrainian folk music performed by Yuliia Lut, a local Ukrainian refugee, accompanied by Everton Hartley
- Reflections and speeches on Refugee Week and the meaning of Courage
Food & Drink
Enjoy a beautifully crafted four‑course Ukrainian dinner, prepared by MasterChef finalist and owner of the Ukrainian café Sweet Brumble, Iryna Malenko.
