Create a timeless woven cuff bracelet while discovering the basics of traditional Nantucket basket weaving.

This beginner-friendly workshop is designed to introduce participants to one of New England’s most beloved crafts. Guided step-by-step by experienced instructors, guests will learn foundational weaving techniques while creating a stylish 1/2" woven cuff bracelet using traditional basket weaving materials.

Perfect for first-time weavers and creative makers alike, this hands-on experience offers a meaningful opportunity to slow down, work with natural materials, and craft a wearable piece inspired by generations of maritime artistry. Each bracelet is finished with modern acrylic endcaps, blending historic technique with contemporary style for a piece that is both elegant and easy to wear.

During registration, participants may select their bracelet size as well as their preferred endcap color in either black or white.

Leave with a completed bracelet, new weaving skills, and a deeper appreciation for the craftsmanship behind Nantucket basket traditions.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

You do not have to bring your printed ticket to the event. You may give your name to the Event Facilitator at check-in.

What's the cancellation/refund policy?

If you need to cancel or reschedule your event program, please contact Christina Basler, Director of Guest Services and Group Programs, at 508-746-1622, ext. 8107 or via email, cbasler@plimoth.org, as soon as possible, within the following time frames:

At least two weeks withdrawal notice is required for a full refund.

No refund or credit will be received, when given less than 7 days notice, for cancellation or reschedule; all sales are final.

We reserve the right to cancel an event (low enrollment, inclement weather, etc.) with at least 48-hour advance notification and you will receive a refund for your ticket price.
