HAMLET Shakespeare’s greatest tragedy

HAMLET Shakespeare’s greatest tragedy

Overview

Experience Shakespeare’s greatest tragedy brought to life by some of NYC’s greatest actors in an intimate Brooklyn church setting.

In this fresh production of Hamlet, Denmark is reimagined as a modern elite state grappling with recent political upheaval. Following the sudden death of his father and his mother’s swift marriage to his uncle, Hamlet finds himself consumed by suspicion and on a relentless search for the truth. As he uncovers a web of deceit, his pursuit of justice forces him to alienate those closest to him and pushes the kingdom toward collapse. This production explores power, grief, and the cost of exposing corruption in a fractured society. Starring Tim Eliot as Hamlet and directed by Anna Rebek.
