Sometimes, starting over means stepping into someone else’s world

After the loss of his beloved wife, a wealthy British businessman returns to France, where their story began, and takes an unexpected job as a butler at the Beauvillier estate—plunging into a world of eccentric rituals and strong personalities.
As he navigates the unpredictable household led by its enigmatic owner, played by Fanny Ardant, his reserved nature is put to the test. Portrayed by John Malkovich, he forms unlikely bonds that gradually guide him from grief toward renewed purpose and connection.
