Love & Verses is a curated R&B and poetry concert series — a spin-off of our Lovers & Friends experience — created to highlight local voices through music, spoken word, and live performance.

Hosted inside Edison Square, this intimate concert experience blends soulful performances, poetic storytelling, and live DJ energy into a night centered around love, rhythm, connection, and expression.

Featuring:

• Curated performances by local poets & R&B artists
• Music by DJ @reggieb253
• Food & drinks available for purchase onsite
• A seated concert experience with intimate lounge vibes
• Post-show music & vibes after the performances

This is not an open mic — this is a curated night for the grown and sexy. Put on your best fit, bring your people, and experience a night of music, poetry, and connection.

• VIP Seating (Mezzanine) – $50

Tickets are limited and early arrival is strongly encouraged.

About the Series

Love & Verses was created as an artist-centered concert experience produced independently by Poetry After Dark and The Black Night Market. Our mission is to create intentional spaces where local artists are celebrated, supported, and paid for their work while bringing community together through live art and performance.
