Join us as we welcome award-winning watercolor artist, J Michael Gatlin, into our studio for a fun-filled, engaging painting session.

Join us as we welcome award-winning watercolor artist, J Michael Gatlin, into our studio for a fun-filled and artistically engaging session of learning to capture the natural beauty of flowers with the simplicity and fluid expression of watercolor.

In this two-hour, hands-on class, students will choose their own flowers from the cooler and be lead through the process of interpreting that tender beauty onto the paper using the simplest of artistic mediums. Michael’s demonstration and instruction helps students to have fun, and to begin to recognize the beauty of their own brushstrokes.

No previous experience is necessary, and all supplies will be provided. All you need is a willingness to learn, to explore, and to express yourself in an open and supportive art-making environment. You’ll leave with several floral designs you’ve painted, as well as the flowers you’ve chosen.

After the class, students will be able to peruse through the shop and enjoy 15% off their entire purchase.

Students MUST print and sign our Flower Workshop Waiver of Liability and bring it with them for the start of any floral class. If a printer is not available, we will provide a waiver for students to sign at the start of class.
