1:00 PM American Legion Band2:00 PM Missouri National Guard Howitzer firing demonstration Join the most famous Field Artillery unit in the Missouri Guard for a Howitzer firing demonstration. Battery D, located in Independence, MO, is also known as “Truman’s Own” because Harry S. Truman commanded this unit during World War I.Please wear hearing protection if you are sensitive to loud noise.
