Lady Alma at The Lawn at uCity Square

The University City Summer Series presented by University City District and Philadelphia Music Alliance is bringing a FREE concert by house music mainstay Lady Alma and Live Band at The Lawn at uCity Square (37th and Cuthbert) on a NEW date of Thursday, October 1st! The Philly songstress has made a worldwide name for herself with her eclectic and uplifting musical repertoire. Lady Alma is known for a range of uniquely inspirational jams, and her fans recognize not only the magic of her skillful vocal arches, but also her amazing songs and motivating messages. We welcome Lady Alma and Live Band back to the Lawn in 2026 for her third Summer Series show!

We'll kick things off with a DJ set by DJ REDDZ at 5 PM, and then Lady Alma will take the stage at 6:30! The entire evening will be emceed by Ras Anthony! Our thanks to uCity Square for being our host and partner for Summer Series!

The uCity Square Beer Garden will be open during the concert for pay-as-you-go drinks from Two Locals Brewing Company. Be sure to check them out!

About the Lawn: The Lawn at uCity Square is a playful pop-up space where the neighborhood can find shade, feel the grass beneath their feet, and enjoy events like live music, movies, fitness classes, crafts, and more. About Two Locals: Richard and Mengistu Koiler made history when they opened Two Locals Brewing Company, the first Black-owned brewery in Philadelphia, in January of 2024 at 3675 Market Street within uCity Square. Two Locals serves a growing selection of house-brewed beers and food provided by Liberty Kitchen.
