Question 1

What is a singles mixer in Richmond?

Accepted Answer

A singles mixer is a social event exclusively for single people in Richmond! Unlike speed dating, there's no structured rotation — you're free to mingle, chat, and connect with whoever catches your eye. We provide icebreaker activities and a fun atmosphere to make meeting people easy and natural.

Question 2

What age group is this Richmond singles mixer for?

Accepted Answer

This singles mixer in Richmond is curated for singles ages 24-39. We organize by age group so you're meeting people in a similar life stage. Valid ID is required at the door.

Question 3

Do I need to come alone to the mixer?

Accepted Answer

Nope! You can come solo or bring friends. Many guests come alone and leave with new connections. Our hosts and icebreaker activities make it easy to meet people regardless.

Question 4

What should I wear to a singles mixer?

Accepted Answer

Smart casual is perfect — think stylish but comfortable. You're going to a cool venue to meet new people, so dress like you would for a fun night out!

Question 5

What if I'm introverted?

Accepted Answer

Our events are designed with introverts in mind! We have structured icebreaker activities so you don't have to awkwardly approach strangers. Plus, our hosts are there to facilitate connections and keep the energy flowing. Many of our most loyal guests are self-described introverts!

Question 6

Are there activities or is it just mingling?

Accepted Answer

Both! We kick things off with fun icebreaker activities and conversation starters to get everyone comfortable. After that, it transitions into open mingling. The activities give you built-in conversation topics, so you'll never be stuck wondering what to say.

Question 7

Can I come with friends?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Bringing friends is a great idea. Many people feel more comfortable arriving with a buddy. Just remember — the goal is to meet new people, so don't spend the whole night in your friend group!

Question 8

What's the cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

All ticket sales are final — no refunds. If you can't attend, you're welcome to transfer your ticket to a friend. Just email us at hello@datefaster.com before the event.
