The 4th Annual Hawaii Cybersecurity Conference is a free information sharing event intended to help improve Hawaii’s cyber resilience.
The 4th Annual Hawaii Cybersecurity Conference is an information sharing event intended to help Hawaii’s varied communities be better informed and better prepared against online criminals.
This conference will bring together Hawaii based organizations as well as individual consumers and students to learn from a variety of agencies about how to better prepare against cyber threat actors.
The Keynote address for Day 2 will be given by Vince Hoang, Hawaii State CISO. Experts from federal and state agencies as well as academia and representatives of the technology sector will provide critical information that Hawaii businesses and residents need to stay safe. Organizations confirmed to attend are:

- U.S. Army

- Coeus

Logistics: The conference is in person only. No online/virtual attendance is offered. This event is not open to the media. There is no charge to attend the conference. This conference is organized by CyberHawaii with support and speakers provided by the FBI Honolulu Office, the Hawaii State Office of Homeland Security and other federal and state agencies. Speakers from local technology vendors and academia will also share information.
The Hawaii Cybersecurity Conference is a two-day event that will be held at the University of Hawaii’s Manoa and West Oahu campuses.
Parking is free in the main parking lot.
Synposis: Presentations will be made by government agencies, technology vendors, local experts and academics on topics of interest to those working to prevent the impact of cyber threats. Special areas of focus will include digital forensics, workforce development, cybersecurity tools and human behavior. A panel on workforce development in the technology and security fields will be presented.
Prerequisites: This session will focus on the technical aspects of malicious behaviors. Discussions on appropriate technical approaches and potential defensive tools will be offered. An understanding of information technology, information security and/or cybersecurity is required. Experience working as a security professional is recommended.

3. Lunch will be provided.
4. There is no charge to park on campus.
5. No pictures, videos or audio recordings may be made during the presentations.
