<h2>🚲 Bike Mechanic On-Site 🚲</h2>The Shiny Shop In partnership with Transportation Services + Commuter Pop-Up 🕙 Public Hours: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM 🚲 Mechanic Hours: 10:00 AM – 3:30 PM 🪩 Combination of Pre-Registered + Drop-In Support <a href="https://www.alexmakesart.com/tss" title="https://www.alexmakesart.com/tss" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">The Shiny Shop</a> is thrilled to host an on-site bike mechanic offering quick safety checks, commuter guidance, and supportive troubleshooting for cyclists moving through the neighborhood. While advance sign-up appointments are currently full, a limited number of drop-in sessions will be available throughout the day on a first come, first served basis. ⏱️ Drop-in consultations are approximately 10–15 minutes and may include: • General bike safety checks • Tire pressure guidance • Brake and visibility check-ins • Questions about bike commuting • Helmet fitting assistance • General commuter support + resources Positioned along one of the area’s highly active pedestrian and cycling corridors, <a href="https://www.alexmakesart.com/tss" title="https://www.alexmakesart.com/tss" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">The Shiny Shop</a> also functions as a pop-up commuter support hub in collaboration with Commuter Services staff. In addition to creative programming, visitors can access guidance for route planning, learn about sustainable transportation initiatives and benefits, explore shared mobility discounts, and connect with resources that encourage safer, more joyful movement through the city. Whether you’re an experienced cyclist, a curious beginner, or simply stopping by while exploring the neighborhood, this activation is designed to support visibility, accessibility, sustainability, and community connection. 📍 Arrival Notes: Guests may enter through the front lobby doors and will find The Shiny Shop just inside the first door past the lobby. You’re also welcome to knock on our windows from the outside of the shop if you need help finding us — we’re happy to wave you in. 🎟️ Free to attend.
