Telling Your Story with Confidence

Whether you’re returning to work, shifting careers, or reimagining how and where you work, how you tell your professional story can make or break an opportunity. This interactive workshop is designed for professionals who are transitioning into roles that utilize and honor the skills they’ve built through years of work and life experience.

Co-led by executive coach Jessica Galica and career coach Adanna Ukah, this session blends tactical frameworks with the internal mindset work that makes a story land. Participants will learn how to craft a clear, compelling professional narrative, understand what often gets left out (and why), and practice delivering their story in a way that feels both true and powerful.

The session includes a brief presentation, reflective exercises, and live coaching and Q&A. Participation is encouraged but optional so you can engage in whatever way feels right for you.

Speaker Bios:

Jessica Galica is an executive coach and leadership advisor who partners with senior leaders navigating high-stakes roles, transitions, and scale. She holds an MBA from MIT Sloan and is an ICF- and CTI-certified coach. Her work focuses on strengthening executive presence, decision-making, and leadership effectiveness in complex environments. Prior to coaching, Jess spent 15 years in leadership roles across consulting, startups, and global technology organizations. Her thought leadership has been featured in Business Insider, Fast Company, Forbes Women, MIT Technology Review, and The Boston Globe.

Adanna Ukah is a career coach and GTM leader in tech and startups who works with professionals navigating transitions: career pivots, re-entries, and moves into roles that actually fit. She holds an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management and is a Co-Active trained coach. Through her practice, Agence, she works with professionals who’ve taken the unconventional path—returning professionals, leaders from traditionally marginalized backgrounds and identities, and those who’ve built expertise outside the straight line. Her work focuses on the positioning and strategy it takes to get unstuck, move up, and negotiate on their own terms.
