It will also examine the global meanings of “Indigenous,” how the term carries different histories and implications across regions, and what efforts to re-Indigenize can look like in a so-called “post-colonial” world still shaped by capitalism and empire.</li></ul>Inspired by Eve Tuck’s call to move beyond narratives of tragedy and damage, this talk asks how we can revitalize non-Western ways of knowing, relating, and being.
