The Black Birth Matters collection honors Black birthing experience and explores liberation through speakers, healing spaces, art, and the Black Birth Matters Summit, as well as reflective gatherings like "Our Lineage: Tour & Tea.

Join us for a welcoming evening of connection as we kick off Black Birth Matters 2025 with our Community Conversations Pre-Summit Mixer. This invite-only gathering brings together birth workers and social service professionals for a relaxed space to connect, share experiences, and build relationships ahead of the summit.This event is designed for doulas, lactation consultants, midwives, OB/GYNs, labor and delivery nurses, pediatricians, perinatal mental health professionals, community health workers, and social workers who are committed to improving outcomes for Black birthing people and families.Come through to meet others across disciplines, enjoy light refreshments, explore the space through guided tours, and engage in meaningful conversations that center care, culture, and collaboration.This evening is about more than networking; it’s about community connection. Together, we’ll reflect on our shared work, strengthen partnerships, and lay the groundwork for collective impact.Everyone in this space plays a role in shaping better systems of care. Join us for real conversation, meaningful connection, and a powerful start to the weekend.
