What is the RISE Girls Leadership Program?

The RISE Girls Leadership Program is a 3-week  leadership development series designed specifically for girls ages 8–12. The program focuses on building confidence, leadership skills, goal setting, teamwork, responsibility, integrity, service, and excellence in a fun and engaging environment.

The program is designed for girls ages 8–12 who are interested in growing their confidence, leadership abilities, communication skills, and personal development.

Who facilitates the sessions?

Each session is facilitated by Dominque Leah, who is passionate about empowering young girls through leadership, mentorship, and community involvement.

How much does the program cost?

The cost is $100 per student and includes all three sessions, leadership materials, activities, and program recognition items.

Are scholarships available?

Yes, a limited number of scholarships are available for families who may need financial assistance. Scholarship requests can be submitted by emailing chair@hln-waco.org or info@hln-waco.org.

What will participants receive?

Each participant will receive:

A Certificate of Completion
A RISE Leadership Sash presented upon completion
Leadership activities and worksheets
Confidence-building and teamwork experiences
A fun and encouraging environment focused on leadership development

What should students bring?

Participants are not required to bring anything but a positive attitude.

Will lunch be provided?

Yes, lunch will be provided.  Each participant will receive one water bottler at each session.

How can I register my child?

Registration can be completed online through the Eventbrite registration link. Space is limited and registration will close once all spots are filled.
