Celebrate the longest day of the year with Hackensack Riverkeeper, right here on Overpeck Creek in Leonia! Whether you’re here for the peaceful glide, the community vibes, or just an excuse to be outside a little longer—this is your invitation to celebrate summer the best way we know how: on the water.
Join us for peaceful evening paddle as the sun lingers low over the water and the creek glows with golden summer light.
We’ll launch at 7:00 pm. You can paddle the calm waters and pause to take in the summer solstice sunset—when the day finally gives way to a warm, peaceful dusk. It’s a chance to slow down, connect with nature, and share the water with a great local community.
🌿 All experience levels welcome.
🛶 Perfect for friends, families*, and first-time paddlers.
✨ *Kids ages 12+ are welcome, with a parent or guardian. No young children please.

Reservations only. 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm.
Single and Tandem kayaks are available for rent.
