Join Newnan Shakes at the Newnan Carnegie Library for an interactive performance of Midsummer Night’s Dream. This program was designed to give children an introductory, hands-on experience of William Shakespeare and one of his most popular works. Each attendee will watch a short play and work in groups through all stations pertaining to all five senses for the ultimate immersive adventure. This program is recommended for children ages 4-10. Space is limited. Registration is required and will begin on Eventbrite one week before the program. Sponsored by the Newnan Shakes, Kiwanis Club of Newnan, and the Newnan Carnegie Library Foundation.

Registration Guidelines for 2026: If you end up being unable to make it to a program you have registered for please cancel your registration on Eventbrite or call or email us at carnegie@newnanga.gov. If you have three no-shows without canceling you will no longer be able to register for summer programs but be placed on the waitlist and will only be able to attend if we have space open up. Thank you for your understanding as we try to accommodate everyone who wants to join us for summer programs. Registering for the program signals your acceptance of this guideline.
