Brews of the Ancient World: Teas and Natural Dyes

We are America's first Smartshop. While new to the Bay Area, smartshops have been around for over 20 years in Europe. “Smartshop” is a term used to describe a shop that sells: Nootropics, Herbal Remedies/After Party Care, and Live/Dried Botanical Samples for Research Purposes. These shops began to open in response to a need for education about entheogenic plants and herbal medicine.In addition to providing access to and education about these medicinal plants, we strive to host a variety of special events and serve as a hub for community gatherings, education, healing, art, and other forms of expression and exploration.

The Church of Mother Gong

Explore the historical and cultural relationships between humans and psychoactive plants in an educational setting. This discussion-based workshop highlights lesser-known species and their roles in traditional practices and global ethnobotany.Plants discussed may include Salvia divinorum, Mimosa hostilis, Peganum harmala, morning glory species, and certain cacti.In collaboration with Experimental College.
