Home Growing 101: Home Gardening Workshop

Join BMore Hydro for an in-person educational workshop focused on home gardening and personal home growing fundamentals in accordance with Maryland regulations. This session is designed for adults interested in learning how to responsibly manage a small home garden while staying informed on current state guidelines.

The workshop will cover essential plant care techniques, including demonstrations of plant training methods, pruning, trimming, repotting, and strategies for developing a strong, healthy root system.

Attendees will also learn about environmental management, feeding schedules, nutrient balance, and how to identify and address common plant health challenges. Instruction will be applicable to a variety of indoor and outdoor home-growing setups.

Additional discussion will include an overview of different home growing approaches, such as indoor water-based systems, hand-watering methods, and outdoor growing options, helping participants determine which approach best fits their space and experience level.
