Anastassiya Petrova Organ Duo

Anastassiya Petrova is a NYC–based jazz pianist and organist whose sound lives at the intersection of classic organ jazz + modern harmony.

Groove-centered, tradition-aware, and shaped by sophisticated harmonies in her original compositions, with much of her repertoire featuring works by under-represented women composers. She has shared the stage with acclaimed artists including Terri Lyne Carrington, Chris Potter, John Patitucci, Joe Lovano, Lakecia Benjamin, Dave Liebman, Walter Smith III, Grace Kelly, and Catherine Russell. Anastassiya has performed at major international festivals, including Umbria Jazz Festival (Italy), Panama Jazz Festival, Monterey Jazz Festival, Beantown Jazz Festival (MA), Wave of Ideas (Bulgaria), Angel City Jazz Festival (CA), Exit Zero Jazz Festival (NJ), and Winter Jazz Festival (NYC), and her recording credits include a feature on a Grammy-nominated project by Lakecia Benjamin.
