ABOUT JUNE BISANTZ:
Award-winning vocalist and visual artist June Bisantz has co-written and produced multiple collections of original vocal jazz, earning national and international acclaim. She has toured globally and collaborated with an impressive roster of jazz greats including Steve Swallow, Bob Moses, Mike Stern, and Will Lee. Her work has been featured in major publications such as The New York Times, USA Today, and DownBeat Magazine.

Following her celebrated two-volume tribute to the vocal stylings of Chet Baker, Bisantz returned to original music with Love’s Tango, a Latin-inspired exploration of love co-written with Alex Nakhimovsky. The album garnered multiple honors, including a Global Music Award and International Songwriting Award. Her more recent releases, 7 Shades of Snow and It’s Been A Long, Long Time, have continued that award-winning trajectory.

In addition to her music career, Bisantz is Professor Emeritus of Art & Design at Eastern Connecticut State University and an accomplished visual artist whose work has been exhibited nationwide.

ABOUT ALEX NAKHIMOVSKY:
A highly versatile pianist, composer, and arranger, Alex Nakhimovsky has performed across the United States, Europe, Asia, and Israel. His collaborations span jazz legends such as Benny Golson and Jimmy Cobb to classical stages including Carnegie Hall and international orchestras like Japan’s New Japan Philharmonic.

Nakhimovsky’s dynamic career also includes work as a music director and arranger for a wide range of artists, including recent performances of the Sinatra songbook with actor/singer Robert Davi. His original compositions, including Suite 2022, continue to be performed across the country.

A longtime collaborator of June Bisantz, Nakhimovsky has toured and recorded with her since 2005. Their partnership has produced multiple award-winning projects, including Love’s Tango, recognized internationally for its songwriting and genre-blending artistry.
