Comm Lead Screen Summit 2026: Story Showcase
Comm Lead Community | In-Person
The Screen Summit Story Showcase is a dedicated screening of audio and video storytelling — a chance to experience the stories told by the students of Communication Leadership before the main awards event (separate RSVP).
Hosted by Comm Lead faculty, Jacob Christensen and Jessica Partnow, this afternoon screening brings together audio and video projects created by Comm Lead students over the course of the academic year. From short films and podcasts to multimedia and interactive work — bold, personal, and crafted with purpose.
What to expect:
- A curated screening of all submitted Story category projects
- Audio projects followed by video — presented in a casual, cinema-screening setting
- A chance to connect with the storytellers, classmates, and faculty before the evening's main event
If you require any accessibility accommodations to participate in this event (e.g., ASL interpretation, captioning, accessible seating), please contact commlead@uw.edu by May 18. We are committed to making our events accessible to all attendees.
RSVP to reserve your spot — then stay for Screen Summit starting at 6 pm.
