Honoring Juneteenth In Our Courts

Join us in person as we celebrate this year's theme: From Freedom to the Bar: The Trailblazing Legacy of Black Lawyers in North Carolina. As we ensure that this important chapter of our history is remembered and celebrated, we will reflect and connect while highlighting community, culture, and freedom. We will unite to honor our shared heritage while reflecting on the struggles to protect families and our continued quest to keep North Carolina’s promise to uphold the Constitution each day in courtrooms across the state.

Our panelists include Karen Betha-Shields, Ralph K. Frasier Jr., Irving Joyner, Floyd Mckissick Jr. and H.M.Mickey Michaux.

The panel will be moderated by Judge Dorothy Hairston Mitchell.

Approved For 1.5 hours of Ethics/Professionalism CLE
