Welcoming back lovetempo to the party!

lovetempo is the soul-drenched, “lonely-hearts disco” project of Brooklyn-based artist Mattie Safer (formerly of The Rapture and longtime touring member of Poolside). The project blends saudade sentimentality and shimmering disco with sophisticated house, jazz-funk, and global rhythms to create a sound that is heartfelt, euphoric, and made to move you.

With a catalog featuring releases on Razor-N-Tape, Too Slow To Disco, Delusions of Grandeur, and Toucan Sounds, lovetempo has garnered consistent support from tastemakers including Gilles Peterson (BBC 6Music), Laurent Garnier, Melvo Baptiste (Glitterbox), and Colleen ‘Cosmo’ Murphy (Balearic Breakfast).

lovetempo’s debut full-length album, There Is A Light, was just released in partnership with Bastard Jazz Recordings.
